So — been on this thing for about a few months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I'd say something since someone asked me last week. Am in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I'm coming from.

What got me on it was genuinely pretty stupid — I could never work out what an ew return would be with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I'd eyeball it and then be surprised. Now I stick my stake in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator tool is the part I'm on daily — you put in the price and your stake and you get returns instantly, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles returns, a lucky 15, yankees, which is where I always lose track. If you want a look, it lives at trixie betting calculator — free, no signup.

The thing that actually made a difference was the geekier extras. There's an probability converter and it makes obvious what margin's baked in, and a kelly staking calculator — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is decent when I'm splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The interface looks pretty plain — not much flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. Phone-wise it works although the bigger tables are a squeeze. Also there's nothing on the app store, it's browser only — doesn't bother me but worth saying.

Right, that's me. Free, barely any ads, does the job. If anyone still does the maths on paper, give it a go — it's saved me plenty of "wait, that's it?" moments.
